Error while executing “/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/getremotecpmoveQuestion. How can I solved the error message I get during transfer Error while executing /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/getremotecpmove- The /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/getremotecpmove command reported the “EPERM (1) error when it ended.

There are time you want to transfer  or move one cpanel from one whm  to another whm usi8ng the WHM transfer facility  or Copy an Account From Another Server With an Account Password. It becomes a problem when you get error messages such as

Account “username”: Error while executing “/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/getremotecpmove”: The “/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/getremotecpmove” command (process 509712) reported the “EPERM” (1) error when it ended. RESTORE 100% Account “username”: Error while executing “/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/getremotecpmove”: The “/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/getremotecpmove” command (process 509712) reported the “EPERM” (1) error when it ended. You may close this window and view the transfer on the command line: /usr/local/cpanel/bin/view_transfer 1923333333444noroo201503021027304d0i7RE Transfer from “xxx.xxx.xx.xx” Summary TRANSFER: 0 completed, 0 had warnings, and 1 failed. RESTORE: 0 completed, 0 had warnings, and 1 failed. TRANSFER: Account “username”: Error while executing “/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/getremotecpmove”: The “/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/getremotecpmove” command (process 509712) reported the “EPERM” (1) error when it ended. RESTORE: Account “username”: Error while executing “/usr/local/cp

Although you get a message saying RESTORE
100% the transfer has failed

Solution

If you have a firewall installed on both server  simple add the source IP address  to be exempted from your target server IP and do same  for the other server.

If you have a ConfigServer Security & Firewall   installed on both the source and destination server, you can use the quick allow ip function in the ConfigServer Security & Firewall  to exempt both IPS  from being blocked . Or you can just temporary switch off the ConfigServer Security & Firewall  from both server whilst you carry out the transfer. However this option is not advised because your server will have no firewal during the transfer process
